SSIA Summit and Semiconductor Dinner 2025

Guest of honour Minister for National Development, Mr Chee Hong Tat, highlighted that as the industry builds new capabilities, equal emphasis must be placed on developing talent andworkforce readiness, with semiconductors standing out as one of the leading sectors in this effort.

OneSystems at the Semiconductor Dinner
Later in the evening, the Semiconductor Dinner 2025 at Resorts World Sentosa’s West Ballroom brought together leaders, policymakers, and partners to honour industry milestones with a strong emphasis on workforce transformation. The evening also served as an esteemed platform for networking among stakeholders, government representatives, and international partners.

A highlight of the evening was the Canvas of Care charity auction, held in partnership with Shaping Hearts and the North East Community Development Council (NECDC). Featuring five artworks symbolising SSIA’s 20-year journey, the initiative reinforced the industry’s commitment to giving back. All proceeds from the auction went towards supporting families in need within the NECDC community, adding a meaningful dimension to the Semiconductor Dinner.
The dinner was graced by Minister of Manpower, Dr. Tan See Leng, and Minister of State, Mr Baey Yam Keng. Dr. Tan highlighted the semiconductor industry’s pivotal role in Singapore’s economy and global competitiveness, and commended SSIA for uniting industry players, driving international collaborations, and nurturing a workforce ready for the future.
