As part of the event programme, our Chief Technology Officer at the time, Kenneth Sim, delivered a presentation titled Strengthening IT and OT Cybersecurity in Converged Environments to Protect Factories from Advanced Persistent Threats.

The session addressed cybersecurity challenges arising from IT and OT convergence, including emerging threats to industrial environments and the importance of strengthening operational resilience.

For manufacturers, protecting critical infrastructure requires more than securing individual systems. It also involves understanding the connections between IT and OT environments, improving visibility, and implementing appropriate security measures.
